God Renewing Orthodox Women (G.R.O.W.) Ministries helps women grow in Christ throughout all the stages of their life and have a personal, life-changing relationship with God. This ministry is essential in that it provides a support system for young women, while also educating them in the Orthodox faith. The long-term goal is to develop a fellowship among young women, encourage each other spiritually, and hold each other accountable.
In 2012, a conference was conducted in the area themed as the, "Daughters of the King in the Northeast"(DKNE). DKNE reached over 200 women of various age groups that attended the conference including, single/married, and high school/college/professional. It began to address their needs in different stages of life. Every woman is a "Daughter of the King"" and our Lord is with them daily. The conference left a positive impression for all the women that attended.
The success of the conference led to the institution of a new ministry by His Grace Zachariah Mar Nicholovos called G.R.O.W. Ministries, and Reverend Father Vijay Thomas currently serves as the spiritual advisor.
The long-term goal is to develop a fellowship among young women, encourage each other spiritually, and hold each other accountable.
