Pappachan C. Koshy was born in Kadampanad, Kuttiyil House on April 24th, 1942. His father's name is Chacko Kochukoshy and mother's name is Mariamma Kochukoshy. He studied in Kadampanad High School and got a job in Telco locomotive company in Poona where he worked for thirteen years.
He got married in 1975 and subsequently moved to Muscat, Oman where he worked in Shanfam Construction Company for nine years until he came to the US in 1985 with his family. Since 1985 till his retirement in 2009, he worked in Howard University. After his retirement, he pursued along with his wife their passion for traveling. He has visited various countries throughout Europe, Jerusalem, China, Middle East, Bermuda and all across India. He left this Earth fulfilling all his goals and ambitions and will be profoundly missed by his family and friends here and in Kerala. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Chinnamma P. Koshy and his two kids, Dr. Bindu Koshy and Biju Koshy. He is also survived by two brothers and sisters.
